China's PCB production and output value rank first in the world.
PCB Information 2024-04-09 11:40 Guangdong
The PCB industry is the largest segment in the global electronic components industry by value. The Americas, Europe, and Japan were early starters, accounting for over 70% of global PCB production value before 2000. However, in the past 20 years, due to advantages in labor, resources, policies, and industrial clustering, global electronic manufacturing capacity has shifted to Asia, particularly mainland China, Taiwan, and South Korea. Since 2006, mainland China has surpassed Japan to become the world's largest producer.
The proportion of mainland China's PCB production value in the global total has risen from 8.10% in 2000 to 54.60% in 2021, with both production and value ranking first in the world. According to previous forecasts by Prismark, Asia will continue to dominate the global PCB market development, and China's core position is becoming more solid. The mainland China's PCB industry is expected to have a compound annual growth rate of 4.30%, with a total output value reaching 54.605 billion USD by 2026. (Xu Zhangchao)
